# Add automatic action to copy subtask ou update tasks in another project

Hello, we’re using Kanboard for a few weeks now, it’s a very good application, thanks !

We’re using it in repetitive tasks so we have created some templates and we’re duplicating theses templates.

What we would like : add an automatic action if we add / modify a subtask -\> modify the tasks and subtask from the template, so we if we add something, it’s ok in the template and ready for a new project based on the template.

I’ve tested the automatic action : duplicate tasks if it’s in the closed column, but the task is added to the template and we have 2 same tasks, we would like to update or replace it.

Maybe there is another way to do that ?
