# Expose KB object in public views to make e.g. Gantt and GrabScroll work?

I was made aware that [Gantt, GrabScroll and some other plugins don’t work in public view mode](https://github.com/psy-q/kanboard-plugin-grabscroll/issues/3). I researched a bit and it looks like the KB object is not available to plugins. But to be honest, I don’t find it in the documentation either, I just assumed it could be used.

Is it normal that it’s not there? Could Kanboard perhaps expose it in order to make these plugins work, or is there some workaround plugin authors can use for such cases?
