# How do you deal with the finished tasks?

Hi guys,

How do you deal with the finished tasks? When I move a task to the Done column, it still appears on my dashboard page. That makes the page very long. If I close the tasks in the Done column, then the column seems not necessary.

What is your solution?

We have a automated action, which closes the tasks in the last column after a week.
