# New Plugin: ContentCleaner

After a long time in the making and with great efforts, contributions and support from @creecros and @alfred, this plugin has been initially released.

ContentCleaner gives you greater control of your database from within Kanboard. Cleaning jobs are split into three sections, Automatic, Application and Plugins.

Users will find the Application Cleaning Jobs most useful. For example, Job #2 under Application Cleaning resolves issues reported here: [iCal data with duedate only - #54 by alfredb](https://kanboard.discourse.group/t/ical-data-with-duedate-only/2636/54)

The Plugin Cleaning section is mostly useful once database-affecting plugins have been uninstalled. For the initial release, a total deletion of the plugin is not available but deep cleaning is available.

Give the plugin a try and don’t forget to star the repository…

Installed the plugin (via plugin installer) but when I go to the ContentCleaner I only get this error:

```auto
Internal Error: Invalid identifier: TYPE

```

On github there was the hint how to fix this error 👍
