# Roadmap like the new one in Jira Software

Hi,

Kanboard has a big success in my company. But, many managers are asking for a real **Gantt** or **Roadmap** fonctionnality to help them plan.

I think it would be great to develop a roadmap fonction like the one in New Generation Projets in Jira Software:

You can create Epics (in purple) and create Tasks associated to these Epics. Define dependencies between Epics.

Completing the tasks in the board let you see a progression bar for the associated Epic in the Roadmap. That’s exactly what they are asking for.
