I don’t understant the Filter field when creating a new user. No help in the documentation.
Can anyone explain to me the purpose of this option ?

It’s the default filter that will be used when the user logs in to the application.
You can change your own to test it under profile > edit profile > preferences
It only applies when you log into the application, and it does not change the “Reset filter” behaviour.
It literaly only applies when you log in.
