Question about the Project Permissions / Custom Role

Hello,

i have one question about the project permissions / custom role.

if i add a user to the role “project viewer” the user can just see all tasks - he can not use/set any action. The small “triangle” is missing.

Thats a expected behavior.

But we want to create a custome role that is the same lik ethe “project viewer” role but with the permission to add a new task.

We created a custom role but we dont get this done.
The user still has the right to use/set some actions.

The strange thing is - we restrict the user for task creation but the user has still the right to use the action “duplicate” and can create this way a task.

How can we create a custom role which restrict the users to all the actions and only allow the user to view tasks and create a new tak in a column?

Is there no one who can help me with this question?

Not out of the box, but I took a brief look into it out of curiosity.
Indeed, it is not possible to base a custom role on a predefined one, like Project Viewer. I assume (!) this might be done by a plugin.
