Tasks duplicated on creation

When creating a task I get two created, see attached picture.

I have also found that if I perform an action on the task the activity log also duplicates.

I’m running 1.2.9, if I revert to 1.2.7 and an older database then it doesn’t duplicate

Any help gratefully received.

Upgrade your group assign plugin to 1.7.3. You will have to do it manually, because the pull request has not been merge to the plugin directory.

The update works OK with no duplicates now generated.

I advise to go straight to 1.7.4 as well, the JS was still causing issues (to key board shortcuts), should be all set with 1.7.4.
