This project is awesome and I am in the phase of discovering it.
Kanboard has an Ical integration which is fantastic but I noticed that the tasks created span over periods meaning that they have a start time and end time. That is nice but sometimes I would like just to say that “this task needs to be done in this period (one day or multiple days)” and an “all day” placeholder is great for that.
However I can’t find the setting to do so. Basically just tell the task to be an “all day” task so that it fits nicely at the top of my client (Thunderbird) instead of a huge event that clutter my view.
As I didn’t touch this project for a while, I can see that the calendar view in Thunderbird isn’t correct any longer. It might be due to some updates of any other software.
OK, I’m back. There is no problem at all; I just forgot…
As mentioned above, you have to set both dates to time 00:00. Please note this affects the Kanboard calendar view. To customize the calendar feeds, you need to install my plugin ICalConfig, if you haven’t already. Its configuration is at Application settings. Enable the Show as all-day events checkbox.
