Maybe I just haven’t figured it out yet, but it doesn’t look like it’s possible to remove a project’s creator from it. I’m doing all the creation, but I don’t want to be the manager once I’ve assigned the right one. I only see a Remove link next to the new owner’s name (in the Permissions page, up in the Allowed Users section).
I’m already a member (via a group), but I guess I can just mark myself member in the top section too. I’m trying to de-clutter the People who are project managers page.
Isn’t it enough when you transfer the project ownership to someone else?
Doesn’t look it. Here’s one project - I made someone else the owner, and added a group (with me and another user in it), but there’s no Remove link next to my name. Is there some setting that there has to be an Admin on every project?
After you have transferred ownership to the new owner, you cannot remove yourself from that list; only the new owner can do this.
Ahh, gotcha. Makes sense, stepping back and looking at the forest (instead of the trees). Thank you, Sir..
