Why is everyone is calling Agile, Scrum, and Kanban “Project Management”? I was seeing the front end of this trend a few years ago apparently when software development teams were somehow interfacing with old school Project Managers, Program Managers, etc. I still don’t get it. Software Development doesn’t use gantt charts, at all. Would it make sense to send the PM’s back to MS Project? I had an idea to use kanboard API’s to loosely generate the kind of gantt charts that PM’s use in an effort to keep everyone in their lane. Nobody understood what I was talking about.
