Creating Tag Analytics

Hello,
We are thinking about developing a plugin for having analytics based on tags, so that you can see a Project’s graphs calculated only for a specific tag (or combination of tags).

Maybe even simply apply any filter that works on the current board.

Does anyone know of anything like this? Or a good starting point?

Not sure, maybe take a look at time machine…think that one dives into analytics, might be able to apply some of those principles. Haven’t really looked at it though, so I could be wrong.
