Hello how to setup email notification for :

  • project comment
  • task comment
  • upload new file in project
  • upload new file in task
    For all projects
    regards

For now i didn’t receive any update
does i need to add cron job, smtp rules ?

You will definitely need to setup SMTP

i didn’t find a solution to initialize option to receive all notification for all projects … its not possible need to set in each project ?

The option to receive notifications for all projects, is to simply not select any:

Notice, it say’s, “I want to receive notifications only for those projects”

An opt out is a bit fuzzy on this one. It would be better to say “I want to receive notifications for these projects” and then by default all (new) projects are checked.

This is how most companies and services handle it. Therefore users are more used to it the other way around.

I agree with your statement. Its confusing.

First you select notification web and email both so that you see notification on kanboard website and email both. then you don’t select any project but select only for task created by me and task assigned to me

How to select your Notification method was never in dispute, or confusing :thinking:, but yes, if you want to receive them by email and web, by all means, select those first.
