I have a kanboard user (admin role) whom I added after the creation of a certain project,but this new user is not offered in the “project owner”.selection popup menu. Any idea where I can activate this to appear in the menu?

At least for me your description is much too imprecise …
For my projects I can say that in a small sample always all users with project member permissions also can become project owner.
thx Rainer, I am not aware of a project member permissions setting in the User options, where would I find it?
Each project has a permission page.
