Receiving 100's of e-mail notifications

Hello, I’m the new guy today. I’m liking Kanboard but have something I can’t figure out yet.

I am registered to a Kanboard with admin privileges. What I don’t understand is that I have received hundreds (quit counting at 500) or e-mail notifications that all are titled some variation of “New position for task #XX”. I have to believe this is some mistake as the messages contain no useful information and there are to many to be of any practical use.

I first tried disabling notifications. Notifications have not stopped.

I then removed my e-mail address from settings. Notifications still have not stopped.

Any idea what I might have done to trigger this? How to get this to stop?

Please review the notification settings in your profile.

IIRC, you can select the personal notifications (above) according to your needs and deselect all project notifications (below), unless you’re interested in everything. :wink:

All clear. But … a lot of notifications that not are usefull. For example, when create a task wirh 2 attache, three emails are sent. Users are angry and disactivate email notification.

My opinion is better integrate what kind of notification. For example only new task and comments. For particular case, will be possibile use automatic actions.

Yes, but this is in fact what happens. Three actions, three events you have subscribed to. But I agree, this could be combined somehow.

The lack of a filtering facility is indeed not good.
