Saving comment blows up task

Version 1.2.39- I installed CommentActions and Comment-Only in Kanboard.
I am not sure which one it was that broke it, but after installing I was not able to save comments. I am assuming this is an issue with one of the plugins not being updated for the can’t create comment with c shortcut #5464 but whatever. So, I uninstalled both plugins. After uninstalling the plugins, I am able to save a comment, however it totally blows up the task. After the comment is saved the page seems to have no css and the side bar is missing. This was a new build, and I was just getting things set up, so I nuked the whole thing and re-installed. This is more of a general warning about these plugins with the comment feature. Also, I would like to know if anyone is using those plugins with the new build? I may be wrong about what plugins they were; it could be a combo.

It would be useful to see errors or similar logs to better understand. You could also then report directly to the repos for whatever plugin is responsible, in order to get it potentially addressed.

Not using these, so don’t have any further assistance on them. Good luck!

I also see this problem in one of my Installations after having updated from Kanboard Version 1.2.35 to 1.2.40. Task page structure bedomes completely destroyed if Task contains or gets a comment. We already had discussed such a problem few time abo, I wil search for the comments here.

E also see this problem in one of my KANBOARD installations.
And I found out that reason is the same as in “Kanboard 1.2.36: Plugin MarkdownPlus 1.1.4 destroys View for Tasks with Comments

And I was able to fix the problem. I simply replaced file “MarkdownPlusHelper.php” in /plugins/MarkdownPlus/Helper/ by attached file with fix in it – that solved the problem for me.

Please feel fre to use fixed “MarkdownPlusHelper.php” from here for an attempt to fix your problem. On your own risk, of course!
