My current observation is:
Search for strings will no longer work with installed search plugin after update from KANBOARD 1.2.41 to 1.2.42
STR
- Do a test with an existing KANBOARD 1.2.41 installation and SearchPlugin 1.1.0
- Open a Project Pinboard
» Many Tasks shown
- In search string input line behind "status:open " type letter “e”
» Expected: Still many tasks shown, because they contain “e” somewhere
actual: as expected
- Update KANBOARD to 1.2.42
- redo test from (2)
» Expected: Still many tasks shown, because they contain “e” somewhere
actual: board is empty
Additional Info:
Seems not related to bad interaction with other Plugins, I still observe the problem with all other plugins removed!

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the issue, but for me, the search for string (in comments, which it’s where I used it the most) works normally as in previous version

Hi TickDracy, thank you for testing. We are galking about this problem (see short screencast!) with “Kanboard Search Plugin” by ipunkt Business Solutions in 2019.
And yes, I think there is some misunderstanding, I think you are using “Gobal Search”?
Please contribute a more detailed Step by Step Instruction how you did the test and also detailed info concerning your KANBOARD installation as per “My Configuration” above.

Hi RainerBielefeld,
I’m not using GlobalSearch, for some reason, that plugin doesn’t work properly for me. I’m using the one from this link (which doesn’t seem to exist any more).

PHP version: 8.3.12
PHP SAPI: litespeed
HTTP Client: cURL

For me: not at all.
Strange, that KanboardSearchPlugin 1.1.0 by ipunkt Business Solutions does not destroy KANBOARD search for you for you …
But I found the very simple root why it fails for me. For unknown reason after Installation of KANBOARD 1.2.42 the search target selection had changed: all checkboxes disabled. And it’s clear, so the search will be done – nowhere!
More research tomorrow!
