MarkdownPlus Checkmarks do not persist

This is quite normal, as there is no storage besides the .

In this Task The checkmarks do not persist.
In This and this task Checkmarks DO persist.

Obvious difference: In the Tasks in the Installation where Checkmaks do persist the check click adds an “x” between the brackets into the source code of the Task.
In the Task in the project where the Checkmarks do NOT persist there will no “x” be added to the source.

I assume there is a difference in present JavaScript, added by plugins. But I cannot verify this. Or maybe the observer persistence is accidentally.

Keep in mind, these are not forms to communicate with the server.
It’s a simple TODO-List in Markdown to depict its current state. Using it in descriptions or comments would require submitting the new state to the server, like editing the element. This might be done by JavaScript from an installed plugin.

Yes, both didn’t persist.

If you upgrade to MarkdownPlus-1.1.5 it works, at least here. :wink:

That’s strange. In “Overview” list I see many checkmark changes “Alfred Bühler hat die Aufgabe Nr 153 aktualisiert” Same as they look for my persistent checkmark clicks.

And

  • In the Installation with #153 (Checkmarks persistent) I have installed MarkdownPlus 1.1.4!
  • In the Installation with #58 (Checkmarks NOT persistent) I have installed MarkdownPlus 1.1.5!
    • Added Later: But 1.1.5 works on a different Installation …

Strange! I will check results of MarkdownPlus upgrade and/or downgrade later.

These scripts are not blocked on my server.

  • Non-working site uses HTTP protocol
  • Working site uses HTTPS protocol

Good point – but also after having activated https checkmarks still do not persist.

I will also try to understand your hint concerning scripts , but will not find time before Sunday

EDIT: I’d remove and reinstall MarkdownPlus first.
