Plugin TagManager

How can I allocate a global tag to a project?

Maybe I should give some explanation what I need to achieve: We work in four groups. Each group has their own projects. In Kanboard I want to show a list of projects that belong to one group only. Therefore, I installed the plugin TagManager. Here I can define global tags and I understand that it must be possible to assign global tags to projects. So I wish to allocate the global tag “group1” to certain projects. Yet, I cannot find how to do it. Any suggestion how to list projects of a group is much appreciated.

I’m afraid there is a misunderstanding. There is no way, or I don’t know of any, to assign tags to a project. Tags are just for tasks; global tags are meant to be present in any project, so you don’t have to create them for each future project.

Thank you for clarifying. Maybe we will run then more than one KanBoard instances in order to keep a good overview about the projects. Or is there any other way to sort or filter projects?

Currently I have no other idea than, for example, prefixing the project name with a team name or short code. Even if it might look ugly, this makes projects searchable by prefix.

Or maybe you could create a locked (Team-)Account and assign it to all related projects as manager. Just an idea.

Thank you. I will go with the prefix.
